Event activations for GreatCo and John Elliott.

 

JOHN ELLIOTT / ss ‘16 Runway show

The Spring/Summer ‘16 John Elliott Runway Show was the second NYFW runway show for the brand. The title of the show was “Running through Vietnam,” an experience that influenced the designer heavily on the garments and the look and feel of the show itself. The Fall/Winter ‘15 show was the debut for the designer and it was heavily influenced from what he knew, the Bay Area and the West Coast. In going to Vietnam and being out of comfort zone, he pulled from the different culture and landscape to dictate the designs. From the actual traffic recordings of city life to the color palette of the military inspired garments, all the elements drew from this experience of going to Vietnam.

The space was designed with concrete structures that were lined with lights. The concrete gave the backdrop a cold and industrial feeling that complimented the mood of the show. GoPro cameras were placed to shoot additional footage for the runway video.


greatco / hbo apav short film showcase

The HBO Asian Pacific American Visionaries Short Film Showcase was a gathering to showcase the works of various Asian American film makers that were recognized by HBO. The show depicted a selection of films from various filmmakers as well as a panel Q&A for the filmmakers in attendance.

From the photography backdrops, splash screens, flyers, banners, and other signage, all the elements stayed on brand for HBO APAV.


JOHN ELLIOTT / roden gray in-store popup

The Roden Gray popup was the first popup for John Elliott in one of their Canadian retailers. A window display as well as a special section for a John Elliot x Roden Gray capsule collection were created by the John Elliott team in order to keep everything on brand with the designer’s vision.

The popup featured a custom wooden design work for the window display as well as a window decal.
