PANACEA SKINCARE + JINX + HAI // UX/UI

UX/UI Design for Panacea Skincare, a skincare brand rooted in the morning routine.

Good skin and good days start on purpose.

The belief being that simple, intentional skincare routine repeated daily will create more beautiful skin and prime you for more successes throughout the rest of the day.

desktop — home page layout

In order to fall in line with the brand identity, we wanted to ensure that our website was minimal and clean. But above even being on brand, we wanted to make sure that the website was easy to navigate and followed best practices for website layout.

The website features our line element that featured a logo that would scroll as the customer does. The main focus of the home page is the hero image. Because of the draw backs of a minimal look, we wanted to make sure that the hero image was impactful and brought more life to the website. Within the hero image, we placed text to give context to the website. The next key components were to sell the products by having a carousel from which the consumer could add to cart easily.

The next section of the home page was to reinforce the Panacea products as a set. By displaying the products as a set and allow for the consumer to directly purchase, we wanted to make sure that consumers understood that our products were intended to work better together.

The set is followed by an About Us section that informs the customer of our theme of intention and further reinforces our products as a set. With an accompanying video, the goal is to give a reason for the consumer to choose us; the why buy Panacea.

The final initiative on the home page was to give real-world application of products through an Instagram social feed. By having customer use photos as well as our branded content, we could give the consumer a means to better understand and connect with us as a company.


mobile — landing page

The bigger initiative than even our homepage was to ensure that everything translated well to mobile. With a good majority of purchases now being on mobile as opposed to desktop, we needed to make sure that all the thing we wanted to achieve on our desktop layout worked together with our mobile layout.

In order to make our Facebook and other advertisement initiatives more effective, we created landing pages that were more in-line with the ad. If the content of our advertisement did not match our homepage, this could result in a higher bounce rate.

With press being our strongest asset to draw a connection to our customer, our mobile landing page features a press clipping about the product. This builds trust with the customer as well as brings a sense of legitimacy to our brand.

The next section of the mobile landing page was to focus on why the consumer should buy our products. By following a simple bullet point layout, it makes a clear and concise reason for our consumers to buy. With the CTA being to “Shop Now”, it gives an easier entry point to purchase our products.

The final section of the landing page is to give consumer testimonials on the products. Because the consumer is unable to try the products first, it is even more important for these testimonials, both from consumers and influencers alike.

JINX — HOME PAGE OVERHAUL + SUBSCRIPTION FLOW

Mockups for Jinx’s Home Page and Subscription flow via Figma. The goal was to change the look and feel to something more in-line with pending brand changes to go from a more playful look and feel to a more simple and clean one. A lot of the changes were focused around pushing monthly subscription efforts.

 
 

HAI — APP-BASED UI/UX

These mockups are the initial direction for the shower monitoring product from Hai. The app would function like Nest or Amazon home does but instead monitors water and power usage in the shower. The app was intended to give easy to understand metrics to the consumer in hopes of tapering their water usage.
